United States Power Squadrons Digital Media Library Debuts Vessel Safety Checks Video

The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) is now premiering the new “Vessel Safety Checks” streaming media video in its Digital Media Library (DML).

Raleigh, NC, October 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The United States Power Squadrons (USPS) announces the debut of its streaming media video focused on Vessel Safety Checks (VSCs) in its Digital Media Library (DML) online at www.uspsdml.org and as a free mobile app.

The new “Vessel Safety Checks” video shows viewers how to schedule a courtesy VSC, at no charge, with a qualified US Coast Guard Auxiliary or United States Power Squadrons member serving as a Vessel Safety Examiner.

Viewers will also learn how a VSC will improve their understanding of the purpose of marine safety equipment and how it applies to federal, state, and local regulations.

Also featured are how the experience with a Vessel Safety Examiner can not only help ensure that viewers’ boats are safe from bow to stern but also add to their enjoyment of boating.

Along with the new video, the USPS DML is adding a related boater education slideshow on Fuel and Boating as well as several new safe boating images.

The USPS DML is also distributing its “Life Jackets” video through popular social media including Facebook and YouTube. All digital media in the library is offered at no charge.

The USPS Digital Media Library is produced under a grant from the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund administered by the US Coast Guard.
