SVALT Announces Worldwide Availability of the SVALT D2 High-Performance Cooling Doc

The SVALT D2 helps professionals and creatives get work done without a laptop meltdown.

Portland, OR, October 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- When developing photos, editing videos, rendering models, playing video games or running other high-demand applications a laptop’s built-in cooling system can fail to keep up and cause a meltdown with internal fans spinning at max, heat building up throughout the system, potentially degrading component reliability, processor throttling and slower performance.

The SVALT D2 transforms laptops into desktop workstations for maximum productivity where it’s needed the most, at the office.

Heat meltdowns often occur at the office when using the laptop like a desktop, where the improved ergonomics of one or more high-resolution displays and full size keyboard and mouse can help maintain your productivity.

The SVALT D2 is the first and only product of its kind that turbo charges laptop cooling systems to unleash peak performance potential.

A massive two pound aluminum heat sink houses a powerful desktop sized fan that drives cooling air directly onto laptop processors to turbo charge the laptop's built-in cooling system, help avoid a laptop meltdown, overcome heat induced throttling and maintain peak performance while under heavy and sustained workloads. See svalt.com/performance for controlled tests that explore performance capabilities.

The SVALT D2 provides simple set-it-and-forget-it operation that intelligently delivers silent to overwhelming cooling power.

An external sensor measures laptop temperatures and automatically adjusts fan speeds from 0 to 3600 RPM over the course of the workday. The cooling system runs in auto mode by default, but at any time Turbo mode can be activated for an immediate blast of extra cooling power, or a number of advanced and customizable cooling modes can be selected for even more user control.

The SVALT D2 was designed for Apple laptops to run in closed-screen clamshell mode without requiring any laptop modifications.

An adjustable pad helps to accommodate a wide range of devices, such as Retina MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Razer Blade laptops in closed-screen clamshell mode, as well as convertible touch-screen laptops, tablets, devices with or without thin protective cases, and offers the flexibility to support future models and devices. The leaning configuration allows the laptop to stay docked during the power-on process to avoid accidental cable disconnection or a laptop drop, while also allowing for quick desktop to mobile transitions.
