Legendary Record Producer Receives Proclamations and a Day in His Honor from Mount Vernon and Westchester County, New York

New York, NY, October 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Last Thursday was a big day for Hip Hop History and for a particular record producer who contributed to many of your favorite 90's hits under his brand, The TDC Group, Inc. The Mount Vernon Public Library Foundation Gala held on Thursday October 13, 2016 at the VIP Country Club in New Rochelle, NY honored legendary music veteran, Music Producer, Author, and Educator Tony Dofat and presented him with awards and proclamations for his contributions to the Mount Vernon community. He was presented proclamations from the mayor of Mount Vernon, a proclamation from Westchester County legislation as well as a citation from New York State assembly to proclaim the date October 19th will be the official "Tony Dofat" day for his outstanding achievements and contributions to society and accolades. Some of his accolades consist of 27 years of music, appointment as Associate professor at Long Island University, world lecturer, and the author of 2 music reference books, published by his TDC Group, distributed by Ingram and currently working on his third and fourth books.

Dofat was accompanied by his client, long time friend, and multi-Platinum recording artist and actress Olivia Longott, who gave a phenomenal introduction to Dofat at the Gala Thursday night. Tony Dofat has a lot of plans to help decrease black on black crimes within the community of his native town, Mount Vernon and also is an advocate of fundraising for the Mount Vernon Public Library for newer equipment, books, and the restoration project.
