Crescent State Bank Sponsors Savvy Women’s Conference

Local Bank Named Sponsor For Women’s Financial Conference.

Norcross, GA, February 17, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Michael G. Carlton, President of Crescent State Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crescent Financial Corporation, (Nasdaq National Market: CRFN), has announced that Crescent State Bank will be an official sponsor of the 2006 Savvy Women Leaders Conference. The conference will take place Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Jane S. McKimmon Conference and Training Center from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This half-day program is designed to enhance women’s leadership, communication and listening skills, and provide information on avenues for service in the Raleigh community. Keynote speaker Connie Podesta will teach attendees how to deal with difficult people, understand their communication and behavior styles, and about gender differences.
