Crypta Labs Nominated for Penrose Award for Innovation

Crypta Labs Nominated by London Innovators, an elite network of pioneers, for ‘Innovator of the Year’ Award.

London, United Kingdom, October 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- London-based quantum and mobile security startup Crypta Labs has been nominated by London Innovators for the ‘Innovator of the Year’ Award as part of their Penrose Awards for Innovation. London Innovators is an elite network of pioneers, representing 1,000 founders and investors many of whom are changing the world through innovation in areas such as medical technology, financial services, education, Internet of Things, fashion, material science, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, media, real estate, e-commerce, virtual reality, and block-chain, amongst a wide array of other areas.

The Penrose Awards are designed to showcase London as the most innovative city in the world, something Joe HQ Luong (CEO of Crypta Labs) agrees with, having decided to base the business near Old Street. Joe said of the nomination, “London Innovators is an esteemed group of entrepreneurs, innovators and investors and to be recognised in this way is validation of the innovative work we’re doing in developing a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) which can be used on a mobile device - an important step towards securing the Internet of Things - which as we are all too aware is an area of cybersecurity which needs urgent attention.”

The awards are now in their second year and a group of 20 expert judges have nominated and reviewed 50 nominees to select an Innovator of The Year and a Product of The Year; the winners will be announced at this year’s London Innovators Penrose Innovation Awards which are being held at the Camden Interchange Atrium on Monday 24 October 2016. Douglas Bell, serial entrepreneur and founder of London Innovators said of the awards, “The awards are designed to identify pioneering entrepreneurs and emerging technologies on the way up. These are companies with extraordinary potential – innovations you ought to know about but probably don’t. Each of our nominees here have game-changing potential within their sector, and the awards give a good birds-eye view on the state of innovation in our city. For the second year in a row, we have identified 50 startup ventures with tremendous impact potential. They represent great investment opportunities based on radical innovations.”
