South Nassau Communities Hospital Launches New Website

Oceanside, NY, November 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- South Nassau Communities Hospital has launched a totally redesigned and mobile friendly website to make it easier for patients and visitors to find the services and information they need to stay healthy.

Whether trying to find a physician, checking our visiting hours, locating an address of an off-site facility or trying to access your medical records, the new website is fast and consumer-friendly. And it also is now all available on smart phones in a mobile-friendly format.

Contact information for more than 900 physicians affiliated with the hospital can be quickly located in the new online physician directory. Detailed information about South Nassau's many services, from cancer care to orthopedics, maternity, weight loss, geriatrics and the Trauma Center, can also be found on the website.

South Nassau's new website features a simplified navigation, making it easier for website visitors to locate content that meets their needs and answers their questions, while connecting them to the complete roster of physicians as well as specialized healthcare services located on the hospital's main campus in Oceanside or conveniently based in the vicinity of the hospital.

Site navigation has been completely reorganized so that visitors have a hassle-free, efficient browsing experience, accessing health information, hospital news and events and other featured content with just one click. South Nassau's website averages 21,000 users per month.

Embracing the increasing use of hand-held devices, southnassau.org includes an optimized experience for viewing on any device – mobile, tablet or PC – at home, at work or on the go. Wax Custom Communications, a Miami, FL-based multi-channel marketing firm with offices in Louisville and San Diego, assisted with the creation and development of the new web site.
