PureLink’s New 4x1 UHDS-41R Switcher Now Shipping

Company’s Ultra HD Digital A/V Switching Solution is Both HDMI 2.0 & HDCP 2.2 Compliant

Ramsey, NJ, November 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- PureLink, a leading provider of digital connectivity solutions to commercial audio/video and IT markets worldwide, today announced that they have begun shipping their new UHDS-41R 4x1 HDMI Ultra HD switchers. This new system, which is part of the company’s HDTools product line, provides switching of up to four (4) UHD/4K sources to a single UHD/4K display. It is a reliable, multi-input A/V switching solution that easily supports both small corporate conferencing as well as residential/home theater applications.

PureLink has a long history in the A/V industry, not only developing the world's first digital matrix switcher, but also the first HDCP-compliant matrix switcher and the first modular cross-platform digital matrix switcher. The UHDS-41R complements the company's existing HDTools offerings, which include UHD/4K integrated matrix switchers, modular and rack-mounted extenders, converters, emulators, testers, distribution amplifiers and more.

The UHDS-41R switch allows up to 4 HDMI digital video sources to share a single video display (with audio). It allows switching between these four different video inputs by automatic signal detection, IR remote control, RS232 port or manual toggle. Featuring Auto-EDID management as well as Audio Return Channel (ARC) capabilities, this new switcher is fully 3D compatible, with up to UHD/4K resolution at 50/60Hz. It also significantly simplifies the installation process, as the installer no longer is required to manually plug in different HDMI connectors to view different sources.

"The UHDS-41R combines the latest technologies, including HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 support, with user-friendly configuration and operation to deliver 4K/60 resolution and a host of advanced features," stated Kevin Kang, PureLink's Technical Sales Director. “This new HDTools offering is perfect for both residential applications as well as commercial integration," he added. "It is easy to set up and extremely flexible in the technologies that it utilizes to manage these video signals in a multitude of configurations," he concluded.
