Praise FM 89.5 (WSRX) Christian Radio in Naples, Florida Announces 3-Day On-Air "Sharathon" Scheduled for March 5-7, 2008
3 Day On-Air Event Raises Annual Budget for Christian Radio Ministry with phone volunteers needed.
Naples, FL, January 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Praise FM 89.5 (WSRX) Station Manager Arnie Coones is pleased to announce the dates for Sharathon 2008, a 3 day event that raises pledges of financial support toward the station’s annual operating budget. Sharathon 2008 is scheduled to start at 6:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5th and will end around 6:00 PM on Friday, March 7th.
“Our radio ministry has been on the air in Southwest Florida since 1994. Each year, we ask our listeners and the community to call in and make a faith pledge of financial support. Our goal this year is $140,000 and I know that everyone pledging something, small or large, will help us reach the goal,” says Arnie Coones, Station Manager. “We play a wide variety of music that appeals to a broad range of listeners, and now that we’re operating at 100,000 watts from our own 350’ tower, we know we’re reaching more listeners than ever through Collier and Lee Counties. Sharathon is always a fun time for the listeners, staff and volunteers and we’re excited to see what God has worked out for this year’s fundraiser. ”
Praise FM 89.5 is the only Naples-based Adult Contemporary/Christian Hit radio station. They play a wide variety of uplifting music, from ballads to rock to hip-hop, plus educational programming that reaches out to everyone with the important message of God’s love for humankind.
