Pleasanton, CA, January 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Laugh-A-Lot Productions, one of the Bay Area’s most prominent comedy production companies, today announced The 2008 Anti-Valentine’s Day Comedy Bash. Scheduled for Tuesday, February 14th at Mudd’s Restaurant in San Ramon, the event will feature Larry “Bubbles” Brown and headliner Andrew Norelli, as well as a number of audience participation activities.

“It’s a chance for people to get away from the usual Valentine’s Day activities”, said John DeKoven, Laugh-A-Lot Productions’ Chief Executive Comic. “You’ll see some of the best comedians in the business who hate Valentine’s Day as much as you do”.

Brown is noted for Late night with David Letterman, as well as his role in the recent film adaptation of the best-selling book, The Kite Runner. Norelli has dozens of credits including The Byron Allen Show and Live at Gotham on Comedy Central.

The Anti-Valentine’s Day Comedy Bash will also include a “Match The Joke” mixer and raffle, where women get cards with set-ups and men get cards with the punchline. Another activity, the “Airing of the Grievances”, will allow attendees to get on stage and say what they dislike about the opposite sex, dating, and other romance-related issues. People can also bring pictures of ex-girlfriends/boyfriends/husbands/wives to put through a paper shredder.

Admission is $15, which includes free appetizers. Showtime is 7-10pm. For more information visit www.laughalotproductions.com or call (925) 264-4413.
