Belconn 10 Pair Disconnection Module, Has Different Installation Options

Belconn introduces a new generation of 10 pair disconnection modules for voice and data distribution.

Torino, Italy, February 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- 10 pair connectors for cross connect applications in the local loop as well as for distribution of voice networks in private buildings and operator's exchange rooms are widely used.

Typically, 10 pair connectors fit on tooth-shaped back mount frames with a fixed pitch between each tooth; alternatively, the back mount frame is replaced by 2 vertical metal rods: modules then "snap" onto the rods and can be moved along.

The new KCS10U universal connector, recently launched by Belconn, has the advantage of being compatible with both installation systems. Moreover, solutions requiring lightning protection accessories and rod mount installation can be utilised with KCS10U with no extra earth rail accessories, since earthing is provided by the metal fixing clips supplied within.

KCS10U uses IDC (insulation displacement contact) technology to terminated solid copper wires with conductor diameter from 0.4 to 0.9 mm. The build-in disconnection facility gives full testing capacity of the circuit.

Belconn is a manufacturer of passive solutions for telecommunications and data networks, with sales to over 50 countries worldwide, offering cables, connectors and accessories to suit most of application requirements.
