Wise Women Fitness Announces the Pink Ribbon Program

Wise Women Fitness is thrilled and honored to offer their newest specialty program, the Pink Ribbon Program - a therapeutic, post-rehabilitation exercise program designed specifically for the needs of breast cancer survivors.

Tampa, FL, January 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Breast cancer is now the second most common cancer in women (and men) worldwide. Thankfully, survival rates are improving thanks to research in prevention, early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

Rehabilitative exercise is an important part of returning to activities of daily living after cancer treatment. New research clearly demonstrates the benefits and safety of exercise both during and following treatment for breast cancer. The effects of exercise can lead to significant improvements in day-to-day functioning, tolerance of treatment symptoms, fitness and overall health-related quality of life.

For breast cancer patients, post-surgical rehabilitation is a key component to recovery but unfortunately for many women, this rehab can be limited and very often missing in the treatment of breast cancer.

Enter, the Pink Ribbon Program. Created by a breast cancer survivor, this exercise program provides women with additional rehabilitative exercise and enhanced recovery specifically for women after breast cancer surgery.

If you are a breast cancer survivor or you know a breast cancer survivor struggling to regain movement and return to day-to-day activities of life, we can help.
