These changes bring a more accessible, flat fee of $29 for each home’s appeal. TurboAppeal’s latest chapter goes further in educating the homeowner on the nuances of their specific appeal’s process and is designed to place the homeowner in the driver’s seat of their appeal.
How It All Works
Typing in the address of the home online instantly pulls data from TurboAppeal’s machine-learning algorithm to see if an appeal is warranted for the current year. An appeal is warranted if there is enough evidence, in the form of comparable properties, available in the taxing jurisdiction that could potentially lower the homeowner’s property taxes. After creating an account, the customer has one year (365 days) of access to the comparable properties, official forms, and educational resources needed to file appeals.
