Nashville, TN, March 18, 2017 --(PR.com
)-- High Speed Low Drag will begin production for Race With The Devil, the feature film this Spring 2017. The feature will follow the short film's plot with the additional backstory from "7 Years Earlier, the Pact." Something evil lurks in this forgotten town that’s been hit hard by the recession. A town divided between religious fanatics and those who have gone to the dark side. But football is the only thing that brings them together.
With only seconds left and the high school football team losing in the most important game of the season, the Devil tempts Danny, the quarterback for a sure bet win and an all star football career. Danny rejects the Devil and instead not only throws a Hail Mary pass to win the game but brings home their first state title.
This infuriates the Devil and he goes after his girlfriend Honey and tricks her into selling her soul. She changes her mind, but it’s too late. Danny finds her trailer home up in flames, he dashes in to save her but Scratch has taken Honey straight to Hell. Danny’s arms are burnt, his football career is over.
Seven years later, the Devil comes to collect the soul of Danny’s uncle Bez. Danny steps in and challenges the Devil to a drag race. If he wins, the Devil must release his uncle and his girlfriend Honey, if he loses, the Devil takes all.
The cast includes Stacey Dixon, Jim O'Rear, Hank Bagwell, Judy Jackson, Tommy Barnes, Kimmy Inez, Lilli Allen and introducing Kasper Meltedhair of "Hooker with a Hacksaw."
Race With The Devil will shoot in Nashville, Tennessee.
