Filmmaking Seminar Comes to Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA, February 07, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Big Bang Film Festival has partnered with filmmaker and director Guy Magar to bring the Action Cut Filmmaking seminar to Philadelphia March 14 to March 16, 2008 at Philadelphia’s International House, 3701 Chestnut Street.

In just 2-days students will gain first-hand career knowledge from a working professional director/writer/producer with an audio-visual workshop covering the skills, tools, and industry trade secrets necessary to take any project from the pages of a script through the entire filmmaking process culminating in a final film. This unique one-of-a-kind seminar provides each student with actual scripted scenes and shot lists and utilizes actual film clip examples for quick learning.

MovieMaker Magazine says, "Action/Cut: Top 10 Shorts Festivals in the World - for filmmakers looking to showcase their talent!" and now The Big Bang Film Festival has brought that talent and excitement to Philadelphia’s filmmaking community. Action Cut will provide a sneak peak into this valuable weekend seminar with two preview seminars on Sunday, February 3, 2008 and Sunday, Febrary 17, 2008.
