Georgia Nurses Association Partners with Community Businesses to Impact the Community

Atlanta, GA, April 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Georgia Nurses Association (www.GeorgiaNurses.org) is hosting the 2017 Spring Family Expo on Saturday, April 15th from 11:00am - 5:00pm at 3032 Briarcliff RD NE Atlanta, GA 30329 (www.SpringFamilyExpo.Eventbrite.com). The Spring Family Expo is a free community and family event open to the public and designed to encourage not only family unity but also to stimulate economic development.

The organization has attracted the partnership of Grand Canyon University (www.GCU.edu) as the Community Sponsor of the expo. Grand Canyon University is an Arizona-based private Christian university founded in 1949 by the Southern Baptist Church. GCU offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in fast emerging fields such as Nursing, Engineering, Technology and Theology to reference a few. Grand Canyon University shares the vision of the Georgia Nurses Association to guide individuals to become socially responsible where they can make significant impact worldwide.

The Spring Family Expo will positively impact families, professionals and communities. GNA has met and exceeded their registration goal of 150 people by reaching over 250 registered attendees. The Expo will offer attendees educational mini-seminars, live entertainment, Easter egg hunt, southern style Barbeque, prizes and more. Children will have the option to choose from playing in the 32' obstacle course or shooting hoops at the inflatable hoop shot station. Adults can sharpen their golfing skills during the golf challenge or test their precision during the ring toss challenge. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy touring the business showcase while being entertained by performing artist The Imani Ray (www.SpringFamilyExpo.Eventbrite.com).
