Sarasota, FL, May 24, 2017 --(PR.com
)-- The Sarasota Singing Circle is a monthly gathering for people who share the common love of singing. Unlike choirs, this singing circle does not require sight-reading, auditioning or learning a set repertoire of songs. It is geared toward fostering the creative impulse, through improvisational singing, community part singing (La-lo, Lay-La), singing without words, to allow room for creative abstract experience in a relaxed setting. Bring a friend, or come alone and make new ones. This experience is aimed for co-creation, flow and fun.
The Sarasota Singing Circle will be led by Stephanie Heidemann, Soprano for the Sarasota-band The Resonance Project, and Founder/ Director of Authentic Voicework™ Institute. Stephanie Heidemann has been leading Singing Circles, and teaching singing workshops and retreats for 20 years. It will be held on the first Friday of each month (apart from pausing in July), 7pm at Heartwood Retreat Center (17507 Waterline Rd, Bradenton FL), a 7-acre yoga retreat center with Chakra meditation garden, beautiful yoga center, yoga library, labyrinth and more. Cost: Donation
