Global Debt Registry Appoints Charlie Moore as President

Leading FinTech firm continues growth momentum, deepening leadership expertise amidst partnership network expansion.

New York, NY, June 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Global Debt Registry (GDR), the asset certainty company known for its loan validation expertise, today announced Charlie Moore, the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer, has been named President as former Chairman and CEO Mark Parsells returns to his FinTech consultancy practice.

"Charlie has been preparing for this role for the last year and is ready to lead GDR. His more than 20 years of financial services experience and three years as GDR’s Chief Commercial Officer has well prepared Charlie for his new role," said Mark Parsells, Executive Chairman and CEO. "After nearly 7 years at the helm of GDR, I decided that it is time for me to return to my FinTech investment and consulting firm, Montpelier Ventures. I am looking forward to helping a broad array of FinTech companies grow while at Montpelier. I am confident that I am leaving a management team that is deep with talent and that GDR is well positioned to continue to grow as the premier asset certainty company. I am proud of what we accomplished and feel confident that Charlie and the team can take the company forward to a bright future.”

“I’m honored to take the helm at GDR following Mark’s years of skilled and capable leadership,” said Moore. "It is an exciting time for the online lending space and GDR’s talented and highly experienced team is poised to continue our robust growth as the industry continues to evolve. We thank Mark for guiding GDR to this critical point and we wish him well as he goes back to his passion of advising FinTech and financial services firms.”

As President, Moore will be focused on the continued delivery of loan level diligence services to the investment community, leading the daily operations of the company. Moore previously led the firm’s commercial operations including business development, partnerships and marketing and has over 20 years of experience building financial services technology businesses in the U.S. and Europe.

“No one better understands the needs of investors, warehouse lenders and lending platforms than Charlie,” said Parsells. “Charlie’s keen focus on the opportunities in this emerging market, along with his extensive experience in the field, make him uniquely suited to lead GDR and I am excited to watch him guide the company through its next chapter of growth.”

Parsells joined GDR in 2010 following a number of industry leadership roles including President of Citibank Online; Chairman and CEO of Regulatory Data Corp; Chairman and CEO of Fusura as well as general manager positions at Bank One and American Express. He has remained Chairman of Montpelier Ventures since 2003 and will return to his role as Managing Director of the company where he will continue to help a broad array of FinTech companies grow.

"Charlie's successful FinTech experience and dedication to the development of GDR's innovative technology will be crucial in solving investors' concerns around loan data integrity, as a trusted independent party," said Sumeet Gupta, Co-Founder of MW Eaglewood Europe and Strategic Advisor to GDR. “Mark has an extensive background in helping FinTech companies get to the next stage and Charlie’s experience will ensure that progress continues within GDR."

The announcement of Moore’s new role comes on the heels of the recent announcement of GDR partnerships with leading firms in the lending space including IDAnalytics, TransUnion and Avant.
