Above the Stars Productions and Snap Independent Features is Proud to Announce That Craig Edwards Will be Directing the New Film, "Fake News"

Lancaster, CA, June 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Above the Stars Productions and Snap Independent Features is Proud to Announce That Craig Edwards Will be Directing the New Film, "Fake News," written by Samuel Morris, starring Eric Roberts and Sofia Milos.

"Fake News" is a new original film that follows Maxwell Stern, a no-nonsense reporter with a reputation for breaking the most scandalous stories in America.

Samuel Morris believes, "Because Craig Edwards has spent the last 15 years bringing stories to life on the screen, first as a journalist and now as a filmmaker, is the right guy Direct Fake News."

Prior to breaking into film making, Edwards covered countless major stories as a TV News & Sports Producer, first in Kennewick, WA, then, by jumping more than 100 markets, in Portland, OR.

He made his feature directorial debut with "The Real Deal," an ambitious true story about the U.S. Mortgage Crisis. His screenwriting credits include "Killing Picasso," "Story time," and "Six Underground."

Samuel Morris says, "Edwards' live TV news background has given him dedication to detail and realism that is unmatched, making Edwards the ideal directing choice for Fake News."

Writer, director, actor, and even make-up artist if needed, Samuel Morris is someone who has seen all sides of film making. Having acted in and directed a few productions, Morris' presence is best felt from the screenwriting helm.

His writing credits include "The Devil Lady," "A Good Day," and "The Real Deal," the same ambitious story about the US Mortgage Crisis.

As well, he co-wrote the screenplay for the upcoming "Hidden Valley: The Awakening," a film series based on the books by best-selling author Jon Morgan Woodward.
