Westfield Auctions Extends Preview Period by 30 Minutes

Los Angeles, CA, June 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- In order to better serve the many customers that come to their live events on a weekly basis, Westfield Auctions has chosen to add 30 minutes to their initial preview period. The preview period is a span of time prior to the actual auction when participants can examine items of interest up close, ask the auctioneer or on-staff jewelry specialists about the history of an item, and even try on jewelry to see if any adjustments will be required after purchase. The local auction house’s decision to extend their preview period was driven by increased demand from previous auction goers and an ongoing focus on customer satisfaction.

Ronen Varsha, founder of Westfield Auctions, noted that, “By giving our attendees more time to explore our collection, some of the initial barriers of in newcomers can be broken down by showing how transparent we are in our process. Furthermore, being able to physically interact with our jewelry allows participants to imagine how it can enrich their lives.” At a recent auction in Phoenix, a local resident was able to use the time given during the preview period to closely inspect an emerald ring for his wife. After having her to try on the ring and confirming no extra modifications would have to be made after purchase, he was much more comfortable while participating in the bidding process. Although their names cannot be shared due to privacy reasons, a photo of the couple can be viewed on Westfield Auctions’ website.
