Costa Mesa, CA, June 19, 2017 --(PR.com
)-- Martin Lawrence Galleries South Coast host British Impressionist’s, Kerry Hallam, most significant art reception ever since the Brexit November 2016 vote for Britain’s exit from the European Union. Time is great until Summer 2019 for collectors of British art in the United States.
Hallam won a six-year scholarship to London University’s Central College of Art and was formally trained under British master painters. Britain’s Royal Society of Artists in Watercolor included him for his talent. The works reveal vivid, windswept seascape and timeless, sun-dappled village scenes based on influence of 19th century French Post-Impressionism, Cezanne and Van Gogh. He moved to New England in 1973 and now resides in Nantucket Island. “I try to arrive at a definitive statement, a kernel of landscape, or an experience which is universal in appeal,” said Kerry Hallam, Artist.
The public art reception will take place Friday, June 23, 2017 from 6PM to 8PM. Martin Lawrence Galleries South Coast is located at 3333 Bear Street, Suite 202, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. The art is on exhibit until July 8, 2017.
“Kerry Hallam, who is a leading figure in the Association of British Impressionist Painters, has been the top of the top emerging artist for over 30 years in the United States. Emerging British artists in England are now evaluated by art collectors, and we have Hallam,” said Kenneth W. Lawrence, Gallery Director.
