Latest Fantasy by Lewis G. Gazoul Continues Brave Druid’s Tale of Courage

An ancient evil, a brave young Druid, ogres, tree fairies and brave companions combine to create a tale of fantasy set in an enchanted land. Dog Ear Publishing reviews a new novel featuring action and purpose that rings true.

Grosse Pointe, MI, June 21, 2017 --(PR.com)-- A heavy snowfall blankets an ancient castle from a long-forgotten age, held together by the magic of the Faerie in addition to brick and mortar. That magic is needed to contain an evil man with eternal life. But one day the earth quakes, and the man who was imprisoned long ago for crimes against humanity – Lord Caelwas – escapes, gaining the power of the master Tree Fairie, his warden. This dramatic scene opens the latest book in the Druids of the Faerie series, released by Dog Ear Publishing.

“Pilgrimage of the Faerie: Book Three” continues the series cunningly created by Lewis G. Gazoul. Young Baytel, a Druid of the Citadel skilled in healing and self-reliance, is unaware of his next formidable opponent, Lord Caelwas. After being imprisoned for more than 2,000 years, Caelwas is determined to enslave humanity to carry out his destructive plans. Baytel’s faithful companions have become involved in their own lives after saving the One Land, so Baytel is a solitary peacekeeper for the land.

When Baytel’s true love, Tira, and her friend become imprisoned in darkness, the Druid Baytel must decide whether to follow his heart or defend the land in accordance with his loyalty to the Citadel. His companions rally to his side. They find they must overcome enormous odds to battle enemies they do not understand, even as the Tree Fairies, the supremely powerful guardians of the One Land for millennia, flee from Caelwas, who wants nothing less than to possess their magic and rid himself of that enemy once and for all.

A vast, mystical and wondrous land serves as the setting for the story, which blends action and fantasy. The book’s extraordinary characters rise to the challenge to provide an unforgettable adventure of love, magic and what can happen when a champion has equally heroic companions.

A short bedtime story for Gazoul’s children inspired the Druids of the Faerie series, scribbled on a piece of paper that eventually expanded into the first novel. The other books in the series are “Gather the Champions” and “Baytel and the Goblin Horde.” Gazoul loves to hike in the wilderness, hunt and camp. He and his family live in Grosse Pointe, Mich.
