Fecteau Redeploying to Attend Harvard University

U.S. Army Major Matthew J. Fecteau of Pawtucket, Rhode Island will be redeploying early July to attend Harvard University as a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration student, a lifelong dream.

Pawtucket, RI, June 29, 2017 --(PR.com)-- U.S. Army Major Matthew J. Fecteau of Pawtucket, Rhode Island will be redeploying early July to attend Harvard University as a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration student, a lifelong dream. MAJ Fecteau is deployed overseas in support of operations across the Greater Middle East including Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Spartan Shield, and Operation Inherent Resolve.

When hearing about his redeployment Major Fecteau said, “I look forward to returning to New England. It feels good to be coming home; I am so excited to be attending the best academic institution in the world. Attending Harvard University has been a lifelong dream and has been like my second home throughout the years.”

During Major Fecteau’s deployment overseas, with permission from the Secretary of the Army, he ran for State Senate in Pawtucket challenging Senator James Doyle but falling just shy of winning. Major Fecteau was also accepted into Oxford University, King’s College – London, and the University of California, Berkeley.
