Class Act Books Signs Award-Winning Author

Port Townsend, WA, July 11, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Class Act Books has signed a contract with award-winning romance novelist Linda Nightingale.

A native of South Carolina, Ms Nightingale bred, trained and showed Andalusian horses for thirteen years before turning to writing. She has lived in England and Canada, and now resides in Texas.

An award-winning author, her psychological novel, Gemini Rising, was voted Best Mainstream Novel in the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll for 2012.

Cardinal Desires, a vampire romance featuring characters from her paranormal Obsession series, won the Georgia Romance Writers Magnolia Award in 2013. Other novels in the series—Sinner’s Opera and Sinner’s Obsession, have been well-received by readers and were given 5-star ratings by such reviewers as the New York Journal of Books and the Paranormal Romance Guild.

Next came her science fiction romance, Love for Sale. This science fiction/romance centering on the theme of sentient humanoid robots discovering they can experience love, won the Best SF/Fantasy novel of 2015 award as the Paranormal Romance Guild’s Reviewer’s Choice, and was also voted one of the Top Ten Romance Novels of 2015 by the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll for that year.

Ms. Nightingale also writes contemporary romances in which horses occasionally feature prominently, as she utilizes her expertise from her years as a horse breeder, as well as her extensive traveling.

Four by Moonlight is her first novel for Class Act Books. A sequel to Love for Sale is in the works, as well as another paranormal romance, The Summoning., and a third in the Obsession series. Another novel is tentatively scheduled for release by Class Act Books in October, 2017.

Class Act Books publishers came under new ownership in 2013. Their goal is to bring the best in all genres to the reading public.
