com-ESCO Launches PLaaS™

com-ESCO has taken the “as-a-service” business model to a new level.

Deerfield Beach, FL, July 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- com-ESCO, a Florida-licensed general contractor specializing in energy services projects for condos, houses of worship, and small-medium size commercial businesses, has taken the "as-a-service" model to a new level. That is the business model now used to bring nearly all copy machines to market, allowing the customer to pay for their volume of copies every month, with the vendor covering the capital cost, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the machine. With com-ESCO's PLaaS (Power & Lighting as a Service, pronounced "Plus") program, solar photovoltaic (PV) or LED lighting -- or both -- are provided as turn-key installations on an as-a-service basis, with com-ESCO bearing all capital cost and maintenance expenses. Building get to keep all of the savings from the energy generated and the consumption avoided, and write one check every month for a fixed amount that never changes over the life of the contract. And, since the building own, not leases, the PV, there is no conflict with regulations prohibiting solar leasing and power purchase agreements (PPAs).
