NC State University's Shelton Leadership Center Selects Clean for Rebranding

Center aims to educate and develop academic and civic leaders.

Raleigh, NC, July 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Clean, an award-winning integrated branding agency, today announced it was chosen as the agency partner for NC State University’s Shelton Leadership Center, named after one of the university’s most accomplished alumni. Clean will lead a strategy and branding engagement to position the Shelton Leadership Center to better educate students as future leaders and public servants. Clean will conduct strategy and research, including external and internal stakeholder assessments, create and execute new brand messaging, and design a website for the Center.

The General Hugh Shelton Leadership Center, founded at NC State University in 2002 after the retirement of General Shelton as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, helps develop the next generation of values-based leaders, both in North Carolina and around the country. From students to corporate leaders and from veterans to rural entrepreneurs, the Center’s outreach programs focus on values-based leadership development among a variety of audiences. The Center’s programs and initiatives include summer camps for youth development, executive leadership education, an annual leadership forum, and scholarship opportunities.

“General Shelton’s mission in founding the Center was to give back to NC State by nurturing leaders of tomorrow with real-world business and leadership experience,” said Clean CEO Natalie Perkins. “It is truly an honor to be trusted to help maintain that legacy.”

Barbara Mulkey, director of the Shelton Leadership Center, said, “Clean’s reputation for brilliant work, community passion and professional integrity embody what the Center is about, and we are thrilled to choose them as our partner.”
