"Vengeance Turns" Hires Rob Margolies as Producer During Pre-Production on Film

Margolies is excited to bring over 10 years’ experience to this female-led western as it continues to gain momentum.

Los Angeles, CA, July 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Robert Christopher Smith, writer/producer/director for Vengeance Turns, through his production company Bang! Bang! Serendipity, has hired Rob Margolies to act as Producer on the film. Margolies immediately took the reins and is shepherding the project through pre-production, assisting with securing the budget through private investors and sponsorships with select companies. He is already looking beyond preproduction and beyond the finish line and will remain on the project to coordinate the premieres in New York and Los Angeles, worldwide distribution, and much more.

Within the past 10 years, Rob Margolies has produced five feature films and is currently completing another two projects which are in post production. In 2009, Margolies was awarded as the alumnus of the year by Chapman University. The feature films that Margolies has made have all garnered worldwide distribution and feature star names such as Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, Josh Gad from Beauty and the Beast and Frozen, Alexa Vega from Spy Kids, Oscar Nominee Cathy Moriarty, Kathryn Morris the lead on Cold Case, Kathy Najimy from Sister Act, Jason Mewes of Jay and Silent Bob, Emmy winner Peter Scolari from Girls, Wayne Knight who played Newman in Seinfeld, Joe Morton from Scandal and Terminator 2, hop hop legend Master P and his son Little Romeo, Chris Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran, Ashley Johnson from Blindspot, Award Winner Jane Adams from HBO’s Hung, and Dreama Walker, among a growing list of other impressive talents.

Vengeance Turns is a female-led revenge western tale set in the old west. The movie tells the story of Mia Falcon who witnesses the brutal slaughter of her husband and children in the same attack that leaves her burned, scalped, broken inside and out and apparently lifeless. After being revived and trained by a lost tribe of Native Americans, she returns months later as a warrior angel focused only on bloody revenge on those who took everything from her. The movie is the second feature by writer/producer/director Robert Christopher Smith, who also wrote, directed, produced and starred in A Karaoke Noir: The END of FUN following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2016.
