Ford’s Garage Opens in Westchase

Tampa, FL, August 03, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Ford’s Garage is motoring into northeastern Hillsborough county, with a new location opening in the Westchase community of Tampa, Florida, during the week of August 15th. The first Ford’s Garage opened in 2012 in Ft. Myers, Florida, and, after its success, expanded to Cape Coral, Estero, Brandon, and Wesley Chapel.

“Since early 2017, we’ve been working to prepare for this expansion. We are excited to introduce our innovative and entertaining dining experience to new friends in Westchase and its surrounding areas,” said Marc Brown, managing partner.

Ford’s Garage is a tribute to the legendary Henry Ford. The original Ford’s Garage in Historic Downtown Ft. Myers is just minutes away from where Henry Ford frequently vacationed in the winters. Ford’s Garage combines the look of a 1920’s service station with the feel of a modern day “around the corner” Prime Burger and Craft Beer joint.

Ford’s Garage’s menu includes a variety of fresh, never frozen, prime burgers, such as Ford’s Signature, Model “A” and the Distinguished Gentleman, all served on a Brioche or European pretzel bun. Unique to Ford’s Garage is the depth of its burger options, with choices including USDA Black Angus beef, American Kobe beef, open range bison, sushi-grade Ahi Tuna steak, or a grilled Portobello mushroom.

A stand-out on the menu, Henry Ford’s Hub Cap is a show-stopping burger that can feed a crowd. A burger as big as a Model T Wheel, 10 pounds of Black Angus beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickle planks are sandwiched in a bun the size of a seat cushion, and it's served with five-pounds of fresh cut fries.

A much lighter, but incredibly craveable, offering on the menu is Chicken Henry, which is a succulent grilled chicken breast topped with a lemon butter sauce, goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil. Ford’s Elite Petite Filet is another favorite, featuring a certified Black Angus 6-ounce filet mignon, chargrilled to perfection and finished with a savory demi-glace sauce. Ford’s Garage also offers a gluten free menu, upon request.

“We pride ourselves in having a relentless drive for quality in our food, drink, and atmosphere. Our customers come in as guests, but leave as friends,” adds Brown.

Ford's Garage Westchase is at 10413 Sheldon Road in Tampa, directly in front of the Costco. Westchase is the sixth location in Florida with additional locations planned to open in Countryside, St. Petersburg, Lakeland, and Orlando.
