International Association of Who's Who Names Doreen A. Buckley as Professional of the Year

Spring Hill, FL, August 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Doreen Buckley is a seasoned Operations Manager with AIG, an internationally recognized property casualty and general insurance firm.

Doreen A. Buckley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theater and Dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music, located in Boston, Massachusetts.

For the first 13 years of her career, Ms. Buckley combined her education and talent to train others and share her gift of dance. Beginning her career in 1975 as a New England Patriots Cheerleader, Doreen also taught dance from 1979 to 1981 as a Faculty Member of the Dance Division at the Boston Conservatory of Music. In 1981, she decided to leave those positions in order to work as an Assistant Coach for the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team, helping to prepare gymnastic hopefuls for the 1984 Olympic competitions. When she felt her work with the team was complete, she moved on to pursue her dance career for five years as a professional dancer, performing in various dance companies and Broadway shows in Boston and New York. In 1987, Ms. Doreen Buckley decided to enter the insurance field.

Ms. Buckley began her insurance career with Seaco Insurance Company as a Personal Lines Underwriting Manager, where she remained for seven years before taking a position with Lumber Insurance Company as a Senior Manager. Eight years later, she became the Assistant Vice President at that company. In 2005, Ms. Buckley left the Lumber Insurance Company to accept the position at Risk Strategies Company as Assistant Vice President in the Financial Division, where she was responsible for accounts receivable, surplus lines state filings, account reconciliation, and other financial duties. Today, Ms. Doreen Buckley is an Operations Manager at AIG and has been for over 9 years. In her current position as Operations Manager, she multi-tasks an array of responsibilities by managing underwriting support personnel from Malaysia, the Philippines and across the U.S. for Commercial Lines Property and Casualty Insurance in both the Admitted and Non-Admitted markets. She is called upon for expertise in production management, business requirements, product development, project management, IT/business liaison, process mapping - workflows, employee training, and technology needs. Additionally, she is responsible for research and development of essential programs and plays a leading role in acquiring offshore partners and developing them into fully functional service centers.

Doreen Buckley has been recognized for her professional efforts and honored with the Highest Award for Achievement from the Dale Carnegie Institute for Human Relations and Public Speaking; was named the Cambridge Who's Who VIP of the year for the 2009-2010 year; and received the 2011-2012 Professional of the Year Award in Insurance Products and Services from Profiles Magazine, in which she was featured. When asked, Ms. Buckley attributes her success to her work ethic, positive attitude and the drive to always reach beyond her goals.

In her time away from the office Ms. Doreen Buckley enjoys dancing and exercising, which both relaxes her and keeps her physically fit.
