Golden, CO, February 19, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, author of Pawfriendly Landscapes - How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney, will lecture and sign her book at Garden Country Nursery at 4181 W. 120th Ave, Broomfield, Colorado during the weekend of April 19-20, 2008.
Ms. Bublitz has lectured at Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado Free University, Colorado State University's Short Course Series, Denver Dumb Friends League, Colorado Progreen, Ft. Collins Nursery and various Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado series. Ms. Bublitz is a graduate from the University of Colorado and completed the Master Garden program in 1994. She was able to merge her two passions, animals and plants, by creating a utopia for dogs and dog owners. "We let the dogs create their own yard, I create landscapes that are beautiful and practical based on the dog's needs. Of course we incorporate the homeowner's needs but dogs use the backyard more than humans so their habits take precedence and my clients understand our philosophy." She continues by saying, "I attract the best people because they love their dogs. They will give their kidney to their dogs. And they have the best sense of humor- how lucky I am to meet so many wonderful people and create a landscape design for them and their dogs."
