Floatback, LLC, Patented Hat Float Invention and Startup Launched by Two East Coast Surfers

New startup company has a patent and invention that is turning heads in the water sports industry.

Carlsbadt, NJ, September 01, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Floatback is a patented hat float device that is a new must have accessory for water sports. Two surfers who were tired of losing their hats to the surf came up with the idea of putting floatation on the back of a hat to keep it from sinking to the ocean floor and Floatback was born.

Founders, Adam Matricardi and Carl Cetera are now actively trying to prove the concept. They are seeking influencers and distributors. Like many startups, Floatback is trying to make waves in a big open water sports and hat accessory market. Their advantages are that they are patented, simple to use and have a great company attitude that is summed up by their hash tag and tag line: Be Unsinkable.

The Floatback attaches to any open backed hat immediately making it a water hat. It's ideal for people who want to take their favorite or lucky hats fishing, surfing, sailing, paddle boarding, wake boarding, boating, yachting, jet skiing and every other aquatic adventure or sport people can get involved in. A Floatback also attaches easily to goggles making them retrievable in open water.

To launch, Floatback is offering a pre-sale launch package featuring their very first hat and Floatback. This combo will eventually retail around $35 but is being offered to pre-sale buyers at the $19.99 launch price. Once Floatback sells their initial 500 hats with Floatbacks, they will launch the site fully and are prepared to offer the Floatback in 5 color choices.

"So far we have had nothing but positive input and people really like it," said Floatback CEO, Adam Matricardi. "Once we put the first products out there and get input from the people who use them, we will know more. Right now, we have Lifeguards, surfers and boaters who are loving them and tell us it's a great product and a really cool idea. We love getting feedback."

Adam and Carl are looking forward to a successful launch of their site at floatback.com. The startup is working had to generate a social media following and spread awareness for their product. If all goes well, they hope to eventually land with large distributors like Ron Jon Surf Shops and Bass Pro Shops. Adam is planning a run on Shark Tank as well.

"We believe that once people see the Floatback, they will want one," said Floatback co-founder Carl Cetera. "we are ready to make Floatback a household name in the hats and water sports industry."
