Book Synopsis
Eliza North, an Immortal hybrid has been living a quiet life in Layton Michigan, but her horrific past is about to catch up to her. Disabling nightmares have been plaguing her. She discovers they are actually visions, and a destiny is revealed she's not sure she can handle. Hahn, the Vampire, that held her captive as a blood slave is closing in on her. Braxton Slater, an immortal bounty hunter, is on the hunt for a psychopath. He arrives in Layton to put a beautiful woman under surveillance in hopes of drawing out his quarry. To his surprise the woman begins to revive his dead heart and he discovers he is still able to love. Hahn arrives in Layton and manages to capture Liza. Braxton and the North Pack arrive to rescue her, but not before Hahn set her on fire. She had to be turned by Brax, but survives.

About the Author
KK Gould lives in Northern Michigan with her husband and two beautiful kids. When she's not busy refereeing her 6 and 8-year-old; she enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, and knitting. As a family, they love being outside. Northern Michigan’s four seasons provide the perfect setting for camping and exploring the outdoors. She writes in the paranormal romance/suspense genre. KK Gould loves a story with a strong female lead and her male counterpart. A ‘big picture’ element is critical. Something bigger than just the romance between two people such as; good vs. evil or saving an entire species from extinction. It adds great suspense in a story. Not to mention she "loves a strong heroine that isn’t afraid to take on the world and kick it’s a**."

The New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world.
