Young Adult Horror Novel "Undertow: Death’s Twilight" Wins New Apple E-Book Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing

Book Synopsis
Tragedy seems to stalk Maura, and those around her, as she stumbles along, altering the young changeling’s family, just when they have all come back together. About the Author
Claudette Melanson writes & edits in Guelph, Ontario, with her husband Ron and four bun babies: Tegan, Pepper, Butters & Beckett. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English and an MA in Literature. She's wished to be a Vampire since age five. She hopes to one day work full time as an author, since there are many, many books living inside her head.

About the New Apple Book Awards
The New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world. Any English language e-book published within the last three years, currently available for sale by an independent author or small press that met the Awards' guidelines was eligible for entry. One book was chosen in each category as the solo Medalist Winner receiving the highest honors. In addition, the judges were permitted to choose up to three Official Selections for category distinction.
