Duplicates Ink Plans Spring Move

National recognized printing firm Duplicates Ink is planning on expanding its production facility. The new facility is over 7000 sq feet and will offer the latest in printing technology.

Conway, SC, February 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- South Carolina printing and communications company, Duplicates Ink, is scheduled to move into their brand new facility located at 2408 Main Street in Conway SC this spring. Duplicates Ink has served the Conway and greater Grand Strand area for 17 years at their current 2,900 sq. ft. facility. The new facility will be 7,000 sq. ft., including a new digital production room which the current location does not have.

“The plans for this new facility have been in place for years and we are excited to make this commitment to our customers, our partners and the Duplicates Ink team,” said Duplicates Ink co-owner, John Cassidy. “We will now be able to provide more cost-effective printing services, higher quality in-house printing services, a full suite of custom graphics services, and increased levels of customer service at our new location.”

The new location will feature facility walk-throughs and open houses to show customers the new printing processes in place and new equipment the company will be using. “One of the processes Duplicates Ink is most proud of introducing is our new inventory control management services,” said Cassidy. “With inventory control management, clients can bulk order materials, conveniently store their print inventory at the new facility and have the ability to monitor inventory levels in real time via the web – this new system allows printing to be more cost-effective and eliminates the wait if materials are needed immediately.”

The company’s new equipment will include the following printing and finishing machines: Heidelberg Print Master 52 (4-color processing), Heidelberg A52 Metal Plate Setter (with hybrid screening), upgraded digital printing devices, a variety of finishing equipment which allows versatility throughout the printing process, and digital asset management equipment.

Duplicates Ink is a Green Partner for Santee Cooper, the area’s local electricity company, and is a friend of the environment. Efforts have been made to make the new location environmentally friendly, including the new “chem-free” plate maker, new paper recycling processes, and many other new additions that will make the building earth friendly.
