Freedom Boat Club to Open Third Location on the First Coast

New location will be at Palm Valley Outdoors in south Ponte Vedra.

Jacksonville, FL, October 15, 2017 --( Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville, one of the fastest growing franchises in a nationwide network, announces the opening of a third location. Palm Valley Outdoors, located at 377 S. Roscoe Blvd and the 210 Bridge on the Intercostal Waterway, joins Julington Creek Marina in Jacksonville and Camachee Cove Marina in St. Augustine as an option for Freedom Boat Club members.

Palm Valley Outdoors is a full-service outdoor campus that offers a retail store with live bait, kayak rentals and more, plus a waterfront grill and bar. The property features more than 350 feet of bulkhead and floating docks and there are plans to add a dry stack in the near future.

“We are pleased to add another great location for our club members, as well as additional boats,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville. “We have seen increased demand to be in the south Ponte Vedra area. As our club continues to grow we want to be responsive to new options for our members.”

Freedom Boat Club, founded in Venice, Fla. in 1987, is the nation’s oldest and largest boating club with more than 145 locations and 16,000 members. Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville has enjoyed explosive growth in the past six years, with a fleet that has expanded from 4 to 67 boats. The club extols its hassle-free boating lifestyle. Members have unlimited use of a variety of late-model boats without the bother of cleaning, making repairs, storing or maintenance.

The grand opening for the new club location is set for Dec. 4. Freedom Boat Club has plans to host open houses at the Palm Valley location, which will feature free boat rides and refreshments. Open houses are free and open to the public.
