)-- A series of webinars focused on a new short-term home health care policy will be presented by the director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.
"There are more options than ever for consumers who realize they want to plan for the very real risk of a future long-term care or health care need," shared Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and the National Advisory Center for Short-Term Care Information.
"There's no one size fits all solution and as more individuals find they can't afford or health qualify for traditional long-term care insurance coverage, interest in alternative options increases," Slome explains. "Short-term care insurance can provide some valuable benefits, generally are affordable and far easier to health qualify for."
Slome announced plans to conduct a series of webinars focused on a new policy from Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company. "The GTL Short-Term Home Health Care policy has some very attractive benefit features and options that we'll explain to interested licensed and appointed insurance agents," Slome notes. "Insurance agents who market long-term care insurance, Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement insurance products will benefit by understanding how this new policy can address issues and gaps faced by their clients and prospects."
