Short-Term Care Insurance Association Director Adds Four States Eligible for Agent Sales Training Series

Los Angeles, CA, October 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Insurance agents in Arizona, Maryland, West Virginia and Hawaii are now invited to participate in a series of webinars focused on the new short-term home health care policy just approved for consumers in those states.

"It's great news that millions of seniors in four states including Arizona, Maryland, West Virginia and Hawaii who now have more options to plan for the very real risk of a future long-term care or health care need," shared Jesse Slome, director of the National Advisory Center for Short-Term Care Information.

"We are holding a special series of webinars to introduce agents to this new option now approved in some 28 states," Slome explains. "I refer to these types of coverages as short-term care insurance and these policies can provide some valuable benefits. Plus, they are generally are affordable and far easier to health qualify for than traditional long-term care insurance."

Slome will conduct a series of webinars focused on the new Short-Term Home Health Care policy from Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company. "The GTL home health care policy has some highly attractive benefit features and options that I plan to explain to interested licensed and appointed insurance agents," Slome notes. "Insurance agents who market long-term care insurance, Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement insurance products will benefit by understanding how this new policy can address issues and gaps faced by their clients and prospects."
