The Theatre School at North Coast Rep Presents: The Little Prince

Solana Beach, CA, November 10, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Albert Einstein once said: “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” In North Coast Rep’s newest Theatre School production: The Little Prince, by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, the audience is encouraged to think about what it means to be a grown-up, and understand how to view life and art through a child’s eyes.

“Perhaps The Little Prince has a touch of Einstein’s genius,” says Director Benjamin Cole. “The Little Prince in our story might help all of us to see that perhaps what is most important in life is taking time for a friend, or sharing a story, or drawing a picture, or finding joy in someone else’s art.”

In this production, The Little Prince will be played by three different students: The Little Prince in the Desert where he interacts with the the Aviator; the Little Prince in Outer Space where he interacts with the strange men from various planets; and the Little Prince on Earth where he interacts with nature and Earth’s creatures, teaching him valuable lessons.

The cast includes: Kai Agsten, Dominic Barrett and Issle Barrett from Encinitas; Sophie Boag – Solana Beach; Zackary Bonin – San Diego; Ella Darlington – Encinitas; Annika Haagensen – San Diego; Alejandro Merdith – Carlsbad; Boden Humphrey-Mitchell – Encinitas; Henrl Tanghe and Lily Tanghe – Del Mar; Hailey Topolovac – San Diego; Liam Waite – Oceanside; Madeleine Walker – San Diego; and Stella Witz - Carlsbad.
