Jaha Howard to Take Bipartisan, Community-Driven Approach in Runoff

Cobb County, GA, November 11, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Local business owner and education advocate Dr. Jaha Howard has advanced to the runoff election for the 6th District of the Georgia State Senate and will continue to campaign as a solution-oriented candidate.

Dr. Howard is committed to engaging citizens in an inclusive political process, as the broad middle often feel shut out of campaigns that are increasingly dominated by partisan voices on either side.

“Most voters aren't interested in partisanship – they just want to be heard and see things get done,” Dr. Howard said. “You might say our approach is more moderate, but what that means in practical terms is that we want to build bridges and get things done on behalf of all constituents. I believe the voters will support the candidate that bests represents the entire district and takes a bipartisan approach. Voters have a clear choice on December 5th.”

Dr. Howard pledged to work hard to earn voters’ support in the weeks leading up to the runoff by placing the community’s interests at the center of the campaign, instead of a candidate’s partisan credentials. As part of this effort, the campaign will be announcing several specific policy initiatives in the coming days. “I want to make sure that our schools, our businesses, and our communities work together toward a brighter future for all of Georgia,” Dr. Howard said.

The runoff election will take place on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017.
