San Francisco, CA, November 16, 2017 --(PR.com
)-- World leading dash cam company, THINKWARE DASH CAM, today announced the launch of its DASH CAM F800 PRO model. The F800 PRO offers a new facet called the "THINKWARE CLOUD," which includes features such as geo-fencing, locate vehicle and driving impact notification. To use the THINKWARE CLOUD, the F800 PRO and the user’s mobile phone needs to be connected to WiFi Hotspot.
Geo-fencing technology is one of the newest features of the F800 PRO. If the dash cam enters and exits a pre-set GPS zone, it will trigger an alert to the user via mobile app and sends information containing the location of the device. Geo-fencing technology is useful for telematics, as it allows users to set particular zones (geo-fences) around work locations, customer’s sites and secure areas. When the geo-fences are crossed by an equipped vehicle or person, the device sends a warning to the user or operator. Other applications of this technology includes notifying the users in case a vehicle is stolen, or sending a warning to parents if their children leave a designated area.
With the F800 PRO’s locate vehicle feature, users can use GPS technology to track and collect data for a comprehensive picture of their vehicle’s location. Whether to learn the location of a stolen car, or monitor a fleet or asset route, users will always know where their F800 PRO-enabled vehicle is. In particular, companies with a field service workforce can employ the locate vehicle feature to quickly locate and dispatch the closest field engineer or provide site arrival information.
Driving Impact Notification
With the THINKWARE CLOUD app, this feature will send a push notification alert to the user’s smartphone when a collision or accident is detected. Other registered contacts can also download the app so they are notified if a driver or car is involved in a crash.
Energy Saving Parking Mode
In addition to the "THINKWARE CLOUD" feature, the F800 PRO is also equipped with a new energy saving parking mode which helps to prevent dead and overused vehicle batteries. The F800 PRO’s energy saving parking mode feature minimizes the power of the dash cam if the voltage is too low, all while continuing to record. While on sleep-mode, the F800 PRO will wake up within a second and start recording for the next 20 seconds soon after an impact has been detected by the built-in G-sensor. This energy saving parking mode will reduce power consumption by 1/3 less and lengthen the video recording time by three times when compared to normal parking mode.
Additional SD Card Option
The F800 Pro offers the existing 32GB / 64GB options, as well as a new 128GB Micro SD Card option. Along with the low power recording feature, drivers no longer have to worry about their dash cams being jammed with too much data.
In addition to these new updates, the F800 PRO also offers the following features:
· Super Night Vision 2.0 (Driving &Parking Mode)
· Format Free 2.0 Technology
· Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS)
· Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
