Squadex Announces a Humorous DevOps Story Competition

Squadex invites DevOps enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to take part in their Humorous DevOps Story Competition. The story can be fictional or based on real-life events. It’s up to you.

Palo Alto, CA, November 18, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Development and operations teams notoriously do not get along. Historically, they have worked as siloed units: one writes the code, the other deploys and supports the code. However, thanks to DevOps, these two units are usually merged into one where both development and operations teams work across the entire application cycle.

To take part in the competition, simply write a 1000-1500 word story about how development and operations teams were disjointed, inconsistent nincompoops, but thanks to the miracle of DevOps, came together and worked as a team. The purpose is to unveil problematic areas in their co-existence and how they could be changed for better thanks to adopting DevOps culture.

Send all submissions to: devopscomicstory@squadex.com by Nov-30.

The winning contestant will have their story turned into a comic and distributed across tech media.
