South Burlington Chiropractor Dr. Wendy Mehaffey Named Partner of UVM Athletics Team

Epic Wellness selected to work with the University of Vermont for 2017 Athletic Term.

Burlington, VT, November 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Epic Wellness is proud to announce they have been selected to work with the University of Vermont for the 2017 Athletic Term. Dr. Wendy Mehaffey will be providing chiropractic care to all of their athletes across campus.

“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to work with UVM Athletics as a chiropractic physician and I look forward to working with the amazing athletic trainers & staff at the university,” said Dr. Wendy Mehaffey.

Research has repeatedly shown athletes getting routine chiropractic adjustments can notice improved athletic performance, improved range of motion, better flexibility, increased blood flow, and may suffer from fewer injuries. Because spinal adjustments will reduce the irritation of the nerve roots between the vertebrae, the healing time from minor injuries can be shortened, improving performance.

“Having been a life-long athlete and a long-time chiropractic patient, I understand the importance of getting athletes well quickly, the benefits of staying healthy and the impact it has when performing at the top of their game,” added Dr. Mehaffey.

Epic Wellness is located in South Burlington, VT and is a family-oriented practice with an emphasis on sports & athletics. If you are interested in having Dr. Mehaffey participate or consult at your sporting event, please contact us at 802-343-3900 or epicwellnessvt.com.
