Mirage Recording Artist Ali Hugo Releases New EP

"Time Machine" Promises to be the Pop sound that time travels you to "back in the day."

Santa Barbra, CA, December 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Canadian indie musician Ali Hugo will release the first single from his new EP "Time Machine" on Dec. 20th. The new song titled "This Love Is True" is a Pop ballad penned by Ali Hugo in his teens. Having been unable to secure a record deal in the days when record deals where the only way an artist could "Make It," Hugo; who is still riding on the success of his 2015 instrumental album "New Generation Farahan," has taken advantage of the DIY approach to making & marketing music. The success of his NGF album which features the hit song "Tears of a broken heart" brought Hugo to the attention of Canadian based indie label Mirage Records. After intense negotiations between Ali’s previous record label and the new Mirage Records, Hugo signed an EP release deal with Mirage. "Time Machine" is packed with hits that would have easily made it into the Billboards top 10, in the 80’s, 90’s & 00’s. Mirage Records promotion team voiced their excitement of time traveling music lovers to the sound of "back in the day," where artist such as Richard Marx, Phil Collins, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were creating timeless classics. The promotion team at Mirage stated, "We noticed how a family would head down to the local Karaoke Joint, and each member picked a special & favorite song to sing along with from the decades of the music on ‘Time Machine,’ so when we heard that Hugo was shopping for a boutique label, we were excited at the prospect of Hugo being part of the Mirage team." The first single on the EP is released in the nick of time to help this winter holidays become a nostalgic trip down memory lane for music lovers.
