Segilola Salami Launches Yoruba Kids TV, an Online TV Channel for Children in Yoruba

Yoruba Kids TV by Segilola Salami is an online TV channel created by a parent for the peace of mind of other parents when their children are online.

London, United Kingdom, February 25, 2018 --(PR.com)-- As a mom, Segilola Salami got tired of her daughter stumbling on inappropriate content when on some video-sharing websites and apps (including when using the kids' account). Segilola also wanted a channel that speaks mostly Yoruba so that her daughter could take pride in her heritage. Unfortunately, Segilola couldn't find any channels that catered to both needs and that's what led her to creating the Yoruba Kids TV.

About Yoruba Kids TV
Yoruba Kids TV is an online TV channel that has content chosen by a parent. Most importantly, at least 80% of the content is in the Yoruba language. This is an exciting development as parents who want their toddlers to learn and/or improve their Yoruba have something to watch to help them do that.

Segilola strongly believes that every child of Yoruba heritage should have access to programs in their language and that's why the Yoruba Kids TV channel is free to watch on her blog.

The programs in the channel are quite varied and have a natural flow. They are not your typical "let's learn a new language videos," so children find the channel very enjoyable and could easily spend a few hours watching the channel without getting bored.

At the moment, the Yoruba Kids TV channel is only available on Segilola Salami's blog (https://www.segilolasalami.co.uk/yoruba-kids-tv/). Segilola hopes to have it available as an app by the end of the year.

Segilola is open to discussing with producers who want their videos shown on the channel.
