AAMSI Announces Marketing Effort for Association's Medicare Supplement Insurance Agent Directory

The nation's leading third-party online directory of Medicare Supplement insurance agents will be supported by a special marketing campaign being initiated by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

Los Angeles, CA, February 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- A series of marketing tools will be provided to insurance professionals listed on the leading Find A Local Medigap Agent online directory, a consumer resource provided by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

"Some 10,000 Americans turn 65 every day and need to make decisions regarding their Medicare insurance coverage," explains Jesse Slome, director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). "Many of them want to speak with or meet with local professionals who will educate them and explore their options."

The Association maintains the largest third-party online directory of local Medicare Supplement insurance agents. The Zip code based directory enables consumers to find agents in their area without having to enter any personal information.

"Most of the online resources want your information because they either sell your data to others or will persist in contacting you, a complaint we frequently heard from consumers," Slome notes. As a result, the Association created their directory enabling the consumer to see a listing a prospective agents and decide who, if anyone, they wish to contact.

The directory enhanced its features in 2018 and has now become one of the more highly utilized resources offered by AAMSI. The organization's director announced plans to offer various marketing tools that can be utilized by agents listed on the directory. The tools are designed to enhance their presence and build additional traffic to their individual listings.

The program for the annual conference focuses on key issues and developments impacting the Medicare Supplement insurance industry. "Regulatory and legislative developments are always key but so is the rapid pace of technological change which several sessions and showcases will focus on," Slome explains. The conference exhibit hall will be the largest to date with over 84 companies represented.
