North Orange County ROP Celebrates Career and Technical Education Month

Anaheim, CA, February 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Students and staff of North Orange County Regional Occupational Program will join other schools across the nation during the month of February to celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month®. CTE Month highlights the opportunities that career technical education provides to students preparing to be college and career ready in high.

Celebrations planned for the month include recognition of Career Technical Student Organizations and exceptional instructors, showcasing work-based learning sites and honoring business and industry partners at the North Orange County ROP Board of Trustees meeting on February 14, 2018.

In addition to the celebrations hosted by North Orange County ROP, CTE Month will also be recognized through proclamations from the cities North Orange County ROP serves.

“The support from local communities is key to providing our students with relevant career technical education,” said Terri Giamarino, superintendent. “By partnering with businesses located throughout north Orange County, CTE programs benefit us all by providing students with the latest skills and technology to become successful in post-secondary education and employment opportunities available in our communities.”
