Album release

New York, NY, February 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- After a long battle with alcoholism, acclaimed Suffolk County, NY indie-artist Jon Jeremy has returned as an advocate of a sober-lifestyle through smartly written and skillfully delivered “Recovery Rap.” His new five song EP is set to drop March 15th.

There's always been an element of hip hop and rap with a message. Especially in New York. After nine years away from the microphone, studio and stage, Jon Jeremy is proving that tradition is still alive, but with a twist. Jon, whose style has been compared to a mix of Eminem and Mackelmore, has gave birth to “Recovery Rap” as a banner for those who are facing the issues he's overcome, and celebrating with the announcement of the release of his new EP “Sober Art” on March 15th, 2018. Along with the Recovery Rap, also expect some of his signature style tongue-in-cheek nerdcore.

“I'm very grateful for this opportunity,” commented the skilled MC. “And also appreciate everyone who has backed me up on this project.”

Jon Jeremy's resume is certainly impressive, collaborating with everyone from Louis Logic to MTV2 host Mac Lethal. “Sober Art” features beats from Producers who have worked with Grammy nominated and winning artists like Akon, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, and Shady Records/Slaughter House member Joe Budden.

Leading up to the March 15th release, will be a Valentine's Day music video for the song “Higher Power.”

Vocalfolks Music is happy to distribute and be a part of this fantastic project.
