)-- On March 8, 2018, CASTELLE, designer and manufacturer of outdoor furnishings and accessories, will present an educational session for CEU for designers followed by a reception as a part of the annual Outdoor Design Conference being held in the Chicago Merchandise Mart. Open to members of the design trade only, the one-day Conference which is being organized by the Design Center at the Merchandise Mart, will include presentations on the latest in outdoor trends and product design.
Derek Ritzel, president and CEO of Castelle will present “Furnishing the Great Outdoors: Tomorrow’s Opportunity, Here Today” within the CASTELLE showroom of the Chicago Merchandise Mart, #1576. The CEU accredited course is scheduled for 1:00pm to 2:00pm during the day-long conference. An open house and reception, open to all attendees, will take place from 10am – 3pm also within the Castelle showroom.

Coffee and homemade desserts will be served during the open house. Tours of the 2018 handcrafted luxury casual furnishing introductions from Castelle also will be offered. A raffle for a gift basket including gift certificates from Chicago restaurants will take place following the educational presentation. A total of twenty Merchandise Mart showrooms will be participating in the Outdoor Design Conference with product tours, functions and learning opportunities for design professionals.
