80 Watt District Launches a New Website Watt's Happening?

North Highlands, CA, March 14, 2018 --( The 80-Watt District, a (PBID) Property Business Improvement District, has unveiled a newly-designed website for local business and potential visitors who want to learn more about the dynamic and constantly evolving area of Watt Avenue where it intersects with Highway 80.

The district, which began in 2016, is inviting all to explore the new website which was designed to offer the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality while showcasing the essence of North Highlands.

This incredible district was created, by the property owners within it’s boundaries to implement a five-year Management District Plan that specifies how additional monies from an assessment, will provide supplemental services to areas within the district. The added service areas include: Security, Maintenance, Advocacy, Capital Improvements, Administration/Collection and Contingency/Renewal.

In addition to the site’s new design, you'll find resources, news & events with future pages to be added showcasing 80 individuals and businesses from North Highlands within this historic section of Sacramento County and their passion behind the plan for this part of the North County.

"The site is designed to not only to share 'Watt's Happening,' but to engage locals, business owners and potential visitors, but also to assist us in creating a more engaged community with the hope is that users will uncover hidden gems throughout the community,” stated Rebekah Evans, Executive Director, of the 80-Watt District.

David Kuhnen, Chairman of the Board states, "This 80-Watt District website is a strategic step to open more doors in promoting the county as a destination, showcasing the steps we've taken for safety, beautification and economic impact to our local businesses."
