Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Djibouti Receives the Letter of Recognition as World Leader of Development and Tourism

The Office of the President of European Council on Tourism and Trade announced that H.E. President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh has being consecrated as a World Leader of Tourism and as a member of European Tourism Academy for his “recognition of the role and significance of tourism on world stage.”

Brussels, Belgium, March 18, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Office of the President of European Council on Tourism and Trade announced that H.E. President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh has being consecrated as a World Leader of Tourism and as a member of European Tourism Academy for his “recognition of the role and significance of tourism on world stage.”

The official letter emanating from European Council on Tourism and Trade encourages Djibouti leadership to continue on the road for development via tourism growth and for poverty reduction strategy:

According to the World Bank most recent report on world economy, President Ismail Omar Guelleh developmental policies lifted Djibouti out of poverty and raised it to number five on the top of world fastest growing economies in 2018.
