K.Mita is a Rising Star in the Design Center at JCK Las Vegas June 1-4

Keiko Mita, founder and principle owner of K.Mita Design (K.Mita), will be a Rising Star in the Design Center at JCK Las Vegas from June 1-4, 2018. She will feature her Shoreline Cuff, which recently won an INSTORE Design Award, and her popular Sand Dune collection, which depicts the point in time just before deserts and sandy beaches are changed forever by the forces of nature. This is Ms. Mita's first time at the show.

New York, NY, May 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Keiko Mita, founder and principle owner of K.Mita Design (K.Mita), will be a Rising Star in the Design Center at JCK Las Vegas from June 1-4, 2018. JCK Las Vegas, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, is the leading jewelry event in North America open to all jewelry professionals. According to Ms. Mita, this is her first appearance at the show and she is excited to be introducing her handmade designer jewelry to a new audience.

Ms. Mita will feature her Shoreline Cuff, which recently won an INSTORE Design Award, and her popular Sand Dune collection, which depicts the point in time just before deserts and sandy beaches are changed forever by the forces of nature. The collection is available in 18k and 14k gold as well as mixed metals. Price points range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand.

Ms. Mita has been designing timeless and elegant jewelry with a difference for more than 20 years. Inspired by the sandy shores, spectacular scenery and alpine flora on the small Japanese island where she was born, her unique fine jewelry combines complex shapes and undulating patterns with diamonds, pearls and other precious and semi-precious stones. According to Ms. Mita, her award winning designs echo the natural surroundings of her youth and focus on movement, texture and color.

K.Mita Design, which was founded in New York City by Keiko Mita in 2002, specializes in creating handmade designer jewelry in 18k and 14k gold as well as mixed metals. Ms. Mita also engages in custom work for numerous customers. Prior to establishing her company, Ms. Mita was the Design Director for a high-end jewelry company located in Osaka, Japan. She received her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Hokkaido University of Education in Japan.
